     Located in Ashland, Virginia, "The Center of the Universe", Clearsky  (formerly Jen-Ver) is just about 15 minutes north of Richmond, VA. off Interstate 95. Owned and operated by Terry Jennings, Clearsky is a small hobby kennel. It started with Terry's Grandmother and Mother. Both were breeders of Collies. However, Terry wished for a smaller "Lassie". A friend of her Mom's gave her a pet Sheltie as a companion. Therefore, the story begins. Initially going by her Mom's and Grandmother's kennel name which was Jen-Ver. In 1971, Terry pointed her first homebred Sheltie, Jen-Ver's Fancy Pants, a blue bitch by Ch. Cherden Sock It to 'Em. Horses and college would change the direction that Jen-Ver's Shelties would take. However, in 1985 Terry would again return to a breeding program that had almost disappeared. Terry purchased a couple of puppies from Nancy Butterfield. They would become  Ch. B'field Cure for the Blues and Ch. B'Field's Friendly Persuasion. Ch. B'Field Cure for the Blues produced Ch. B'Field Everready. In 1990, the new kennel "Clearsky" came into existence.

Breeding Program:  Limited to 1 or 2 litters per year. Breeding stock has hips, thyroid, and eyes certified. All puppies are raised in the house.

I strive to produce healthy and happy puppies that can excel in any arena. Puppies are matched to new owners needs.

All pet puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract with limited registration.
